Point Lookout Lighthouse, November 29, 200280 viewsOn November 29, 2002, a wedding was held at Point Lookout Lighthouse. That day, Ron Yeatman and Linda Gross were wed on the steps of the Potomac River side of the lighthouse. A small group of family and friends were there to help them celebrate. Ron is the grandson of William Yeatman who was the Assistant Keeper at Point Lookout from 1931 until his retirement in 1939 and the great grandson of William Yeatman, Sr., who was Keeper at Point Lookout from 1871 until 1908. Records also indicate that other Yeatmans were associated with the lighthouse in various capacities throughout its history so Ron and Linda thought that Point Lookout would be a great spot to call together the family, past and present, to celebrate their union.
