South Side Bedroom Orb4612 viewsThis picture was taken from the south side bedroom, looking down the hallway to the cupola. The orb is located on the door jamb and appears to be moving. No other unusual measurements accompanied this picture.
Laura and I were alone in the lighthouse, wandering from room to room while we recorded and took pictures. We try to ask historically relevant questions, including calling out some of the names of former occupants.

Basement Window6300 viewsDeborah writes: "On November 3rd, 1999, while on a donation job for Angel's Systems for Point Lookout lighthouse, myself and a co-worker Danny Stober finished the work assigned to us. I remembered stories about ghosts at the lighthouse from years ago. I had some film left on a roll of 110 I was keeping in my truck to get developed. I decided to use them on this job. When pictures were developed to my surprise there was a figure (ghost) in one of the pictures I had taken in a downstairs window of the lighthouse."

They seem to resemble the glasses in the picture that was taken in the cupola several weeks earlier during the Lighthouse Challenge. Lantern Room Face- Second Image2376 viewsJust before dusk on Saturday September 19, 2009, my wife Kathy and I visited the Point Lookout Lighthouse for the Lighthouse Challenge. We were late getting to Point Lookout. In fact, we were the last ones to sign the log for that day. I climbed the stairs to the upper part of the lighthouse and took some pictures while my wife waited on a bench outside the lighthouse. I was the only person above the ground level floor at that point. I then climbed through the entrance to the cupola and was taking more pictures. In both pictures, a man's face is clearly distinguishable. The image appears to have some sort of facial hair and glasses or goggles (or some something on his eyes.) I was not wearing glasses. The image is definitely not my reflection. My family has taken an interest in the pictures and we did some research on the internet. We thought there is a possibility that the image could be that of William Yeatman, a lighthouse keeper who died at the light house after serving 37 years as keeper.Sep 23, 2009

Orb at Den4723 viewsNotice the U shaped light to the right of the light bulb in the ceiling. The blurriness could be attributed to an orb in motion. During the investigation, the south side den was one of the hot spots for orb activity.
Control pictures did not contain the odd shaped blob.

Spirit Lights4741 viewsThis picture was taken in the basement and the spots that showed up on the film were not visible to the naked eye. I cleaned the lens, so I am fairly confident that this is not a problem with the camera. Similar dots appear in other pictures taken in different parts of the house. The dots could be reflections of dust particles in the sunlight. Or not.
Some pictures have unexplained orbs that are said to symbolize spirits. Decide for yourself, but something is in this picture! The orb to the right of the sink almost appears to have a face, but then again so does the man in the moon. The picture was taken with a digital camera; digital cameras have gained a reputation for creating orbs that aren't there.
