5771 viewsI took the photo of this room with friends after my wife suddenly felt uneasy in the room. When the film was developed, this image appeared. There was no light visible at the time the picture was taken. The rest of the developed film did not have any other lights on them. There was no bright sunlight present in the room at the time of the photo. The day was a gray overcast day with no bright sun shining.

Little Girl's Corner5405 viewsThis picture was taken at the open house. I "felt" the presence of a little girl in the small bedroom upstairs, next to the bathroom and closest to the stairs. I was hoping to capture something. She didn't "speak" to me, but I felt like she was melancholy because it was raining and she couldn't go outside to play.

Lantern Room Face Closeup2604 viewsJust before dusk on Saturday September 19, 2009, my wife Kathy and I visited the Point Lookout Lighthouse for the Lighthouse Challenge. We were late getting to Point Lookout. In fact, we were the last ones to sign the log for that day. I climbed the stairs to the upper part of the lighthouse and took some pictures while my wife waited on a bench outside the lighthouse. I was the only person above the ground level floor at that point. I then climbed through the entrance to the cupola and was taking more pictures. In both pictures, a man's face is clearly distinguishable. The image appears to have some sort of facial hair and glasses or goggles (or some something on his eyes.) I was not wearing glasses. The image is definitely not my reflection. My family has taken an interest in the pictures and we did some research on the internet. We thought there is a possibility that the image could be that of William Yeatman, a lighthouse keeper who died at the light house after serving 37 years as keeper.

Lamp Close Up5675 viewsAn old-fashioned lamp appears in the small window. The image has been blown up and is grainy, but the outline of the lamp is clear. This window has no electric outlet and is only accessible by a ladder.

Man in a Vest and Cap, Second Shot3661 viewsThis image appears to be the silhouette of a man wearing a hat and a poncho. The picture was taken at the end of the April 4th open house. The image appears to be see thru. Was this someone in the lighthouse, or is this a visitor from beyond? This is the second of 2 pictures that were taken back to back.

Sunglasses 2178 viewsThe sunglasses were found by Dustin Rusk and Terry Munsinger in the south side basement, western side (under kitchen). They seem to resemble the glasses in the picture that was taken in the cupola several weeks earlier during the Lighthouse Challenge. The glasses have been in the basement for a number of years.Nov 09, 2009

Orb at Den4575 viewsNotice the U shaped light to the right of the light bulb in the ceiling. The blurriness could be attributed to an orb in motion. During the investigation, the south side den was one of the hot spots for orb activity.
Control pictures did not contain the odd shaped blob.

Spirit Lights4593 viewsThis picture was taken in the basement and the spots that showed up on the film were not visible to the naked eye. I cleaned the lens, so I am fairly confident that this is not a problem with the camera. Similar dots appear in other pictures taken in different parts of the house. The dots could be reflections of dust particles in the sunlight. Or not.
Some pictures have unexplained orbs that are said to symbolize spirits. Decide for yourself, but something is in this picture! The orb to the right of the sink almost appears to have a face, but then again so does the man in the moon. The picture was taken with a digital camera; digital cameras have gained a reputation for creating orbs that aren't there.
