Approaching the lighthouse from the Potomac River Side853 viewsA view as we approached the lighthouse from the Potomac River. Robert spent the weekend with his friends at Point Lookout State Park. The original plan was to round the point and take pictures of the lighthouse from both sides and then visit Point No Point lighthouse, about 6 miles up the bay. However, the weather did not cooperate and a unpredicted squall moved through, kicking up 3 to 4 foot waves. Everyone braved the elements, and we all vowed to try again next time!
