Basement Window6200 viewsDeborah writes: "On November 3rd, 1999, while on a donation job for Angel's Systems for Point Lookout lighthouse, myself and a co-worker Danny Stober finished the work assigned to us. I remembered stories about ghosts at the lighthouse from years ago. I had some film left on a roll of 110 I was keeping in my truck to get developed. I decided to use them on this job. When pictures were developed to my surprise there was a figure (ghost) in one of the pictures I had taken in a downstairs window of the lighthouse."

Many thanks to Deborah and Angels Systems, Inc. for sending this picture. The lighthouse was infested with fleas that had to be exterminated before the open house. Angel's...they not only get the bugs, they get the ghosts! Give them a call at: 1-800-662-8447.

Little Girl's Corner5417 viewsThis picture was taken at the open house. I "felt" the presence of a little girl in the small bedroom upstairs, next to the bathroom and closest to the stairs. I was hoping to capture something. She didn't "speak" to me, but I felt like she was melancholy because it was raining and she couldn't go outside to play.

D'arcy6137 viewsThis was D'Arcy's first visit inside the Lighthouse. We toured the lighthouse including both sides of the basement with Heather Hunter, Public Relations from the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. This is the only photo from all the ones taken that day that is like this - it appears there is a figure standing directly behind D'Arcy which makes the photo look distorted.

Light in Hallway4846 viewsWalking through the lighthouse, I photographed the hallway on both sides but this light only showed up on the south side.

This is an eery picture of the upstairs hallway5645 viewsThis is an eery picture of the upstairs hallway. Nothing ghostly is apparent, but doesn't it look like something COULD jump out of thin air?

South Side Bedroom Orb4526 viewsThis picture was taken from the south side bedroom, looking down the hallway to the cupola. The orb is located on the door jamb and appears to be moving. No other unusual measurements accompanied this picture.
Laura and I were alone in the lighthouse, wandering from room to room while we recorded and took pictures. We try to ask historically relevant questions, including calling out some of the names of former occupants.
LampCloseUp.jpg
Lamp Close Up5685 viewsAn old-fashioned lamp appears in the small window. The image has been blown up and is grainy, but the outline of the lamp is clear. This window has no electric outlet and is only accessible by a ladder.

Lamp in Window5889 viewsAn old-fashioned lamp appears in the small window. This window has no electrical outlet. (The image in the window has been blown up in the inset, lower left hand corner of the picture. A larger image of the blown up section appears elsewhere in this album).

ManVestHat.jpg
Man in a Vest and Cap2717 viewsThis image appears to be the silhouette of a man wearing a hat and a poncho. The picture was taken at the end of the April 4th open house. The image appears to be see thru. Was this someone in the lighthouse, or is this a visitor from beyond?

Man in a Vest and Cap, Second Shot3698 viewsThis image appears to be the silhouette of a man wearing a hat and a poncho. The picture was taken at the end of the April 4th open house. The image appears to be see thru. Was this someone in the lighthouse, or is this a visitor from beyond? This is the second of 2 pictures that were taken back to back.

Orb on Face5397 viewsThis is another group picture, with Laura in the middle. Notice the orb has moved and is now covering the face of the woman on the left hand side of the picture!
