Come Out and Fight | Parking Lot Outside Lighthouse (inside vehicle) | Child's voice saying "come out and fight" | Laura Hammett | Digital Recorder | 02-15-2010 | 5:15 pm | My friend and I were recording outside the lighthouse while sitting in my truck and her work phone rang, which sounds like an old style phone, and right after the phone rang this is what we heard in between rings. |
Drums | South Side Bedroom | Ten of us sitting in soldier room with no sounds being made at all. Never heard the drums when there, only on the recording. | Laura Hammett | Digital Recorder | 11-29-2009 | 10:15 pm
Banging | South Side Living Room | During the November 29th Paranormal Night, Terry Munsinger was recording in the South Side Living Room around 1:30 am. He was the only person in the room. He heard the bangs and appears to interact with whatever is causing the banging. | Terry Munsinger | Digital Recorder | 11-29-2009 | 01:30:00
Banging | Second Floor | During the September 26, 2009 Paranormal Night, about 12:45 A.M., Kim Hammond, Keri Lester, Dustin Rusk and Terry Munsinger along with 2 of the other paid visitors were sitting in the South side Living room. All of the other visitors were downstairs in the basement. No one was upstairs. We started hearing footsteps and loud banging noises from the upstairs hallway and rooms. (Note: this file is very large at 7 megabytes so may take some time to download). | Terry Munsinger | Digital Recorder | 09-26-2009 | 12:45:00
Scream | First floor, near basement door | This clip was recorded during the March 1st, 2008 investigation. The clip is approximately 2 megabytes and covers about 25 seconds to give some context to the conversation. The scream occurs about 4 seconds into the recording. The scream was heard during the investigation and was thought to have originated upstairs. | Barbara Woodel | Olympus WS100 Digital Voice Recorder | 2008-03-01 | 1 am | The scream was captured on 2 recorders. |
Abandon | North Side Den, Facing the bay | I was in the lighthouse and we were setting up for Ghost Walk, putting up lights to make the lighthouse look spooky. We were going up to the cupola, but we thought better of it because it was dark with and it sounded like a raccoon was in the attic near the cupola. We decided to install the light in the cupola in the daylight hours and walked away to perform other tasks. Shortly after we walked away, a voice is recorded as what sounds like abandon to me. The recorder was in the north side den, also referred to as the brown room. | Robert Hall | Olympus Digital Recorder | 2001-10-23 | 07:00:00 | Perhaps the spirit was commenting on our leaving the task for later! |
Breathy spoken words: Mary, female voice | Living Room, Right side | Mary | Robert Hall | Camcorder | 1999-10-30 | 08:18:16 | This sound was recorded during the Ghost Walk while 2 college students were turning lights on and off to make the lighthouse look spooky. I was outside pretending to be the lighthouse keeper William Yeatman |
Chanting | Basement | This sound is among the oddest lighthouse voices. It sounds like a group of people chanting. Phonetically it sounds like, "Hey, huh, huh, two, two fantas seemrah." This was recorded in the basement on a machine left down there as the group went to other parts of the lighthouse. | Lori Mellott | Tape Recorder | 0000-00-00 | 00:00:00
Demonic spoken words admonishing people in the house to get out | Living Room, Right side | Get Out! Or perish. | Robert Hall | Camcorder | 1999-10-30 | 08:06:05 | This sound was recorded during the Ghost Walk while 2 college students were turning lights on and off to make the lighthouse look spooky. I was outside pretending to be the lighthouse keeper William Yeatman. The students reported that they did not feel welcome inside the house. Within minutes of the students going upstairs, the GET OUT or perish was recorded. The get out sound is muffled by the noisy light switch, but is still audible. |
Dog Bark Basement | South Side Basement | Laura and I were in the South Side basement and you hear a dog bark. No dogs are allowed near the lighthouse and we did not hear a dog bark at the time. | Robert Hall | Olympus Digital recorder | 2005-04-15 | 10:00:00 | Since we were in the south side basement, facing away from the road, it is even less likely that this was an earthly dog. |
Faint drum beats | Living Room, Right side | Drum beats | Robert Hall | Camcorder | 1999-10-30 | 08:27:35 | This sound was recorded during the Ghost Walk while 2 college students were turning lights on and off to make the lighthouse look spooky. I Know | Tower | The first voice appears to be in response to a statement that Lori made to another member of the group (that paranormal voices have quailites all their own), and a whispering voice comes on and says, "I Know." This was recorded while walking down the steps from the tower. | Lori Mellott | Tape Recorder | 0000-00-00 | 00:00:00
It Surrounds You | Upstairs bedroom | This voice was recorded in an upstairs bedroom of the lighthouse. It sounds similar to a voice that was recorded by Nancy Stallings in the early 80s when they visted the lighthouse. The voice she recorded said either, I was in the Water or I was in the War. In 1747, a ship brought Scottish endeturned servants to the county.
ThankYou | Dining Room, North Side | Laura and Robert were talking about the lighthouse and in mid-conversation, a voice says very rapidly "thankyou". | Laura Berg | Tape Recorder | 2000-11-04 | 00:00:00 | Robert thinks that the voice sounds like his own, but he would not have spoke as quickly as the voice did on tape, and thank you was not particularly relevant to the conversation. |
Water (whispering) | Laura and Robert were alone in the lighthouse, walking around recording and asking questions. During and EVP session, Robert was asking questions, and just before he asked "Could you pose by the recorder please?" | Laura Berg | Cassette Recorder | 0000-00-00 | 00:00:00 | The first part sounds like I'm going to get some water and there are further whispers that are hard to understand.
